Maite Kelly

Maite Star Kelly (born December 4, 1979 in West Berlin) is an Irish-American singer, actress and author. As Maite Star Raimond, the artist was a member of the Kelly Family at a young age and celebrated worldwide chart success together with her siblings. Maite Kelly launched her solo career in 2007. It was not until 2009 that Maite Kelly released her debut album, The Unofficial Album. The album does not make it into the charts. Only its successor Das volle Programm reached number 23 in the German album charts. With her third album Wie Ich Bin, Maite Kelly also changes her musical style and now sings German Schlager. In 2016, she achieved her breakthrough in German-speaking countries with the album Sieben Leben Für Dich. The longplayer lands in the Top 10 in Germany and Austria. The 2018 album Die Liebe Siegt Sowieso also reaches top positions in the Top 10 again. In 2021, Maite Kelly achieves her first number 1 position in the Top 10 with the longplayer Hello! The first number 1 placement in Germany. The album also reaches the top of the charts in Austria. In Switzerland, it reaches number 3. Maite Kelly also appears as an actress in German soaps and feature films. The artist also publishes children's books and establishes the series Die Kleine Hummel Bommel. After the best-of album Love, Maite - das Beste ... bis jetzt! (2023), Maite Kelly returns in 2024 with the album Nur Liebe. The longplayer reaches number 2 in both Germany and Austria and reaches number 4 in Switzerland.
