Born on October 9, 1981 in Hébertville (Canada), Marc-André Fortin is a pop singer from Quebec. In 2000, he took part in several singing competitions, including the Festival international de la chanson de Granby, Chanson en fête in St-Ambroise and Jeunes Espoirs Enfant Soleil. He also won a role in the musical Québec Issime . In 2005, he won the third edition of Quebec's Star Académie reality show. In 2006, he hosted the variety show Demande Spéciales . In April 2007, he released his self-titled debut album. Four songs from the album hit the Quebec radio charts: " Au milieu de nous ", " Bien entendu ", " Je demande à la vie " and " Tu m'aimes-tu ". In 2009, he released his second album, Juste Ici, and presented the show Un Tableau Signé Marc-André Fortin. In 2011, he embarked on his third solo tour, Pourquoi chanter? in addition to hosting the TV show Les Auditions de Star Académie En Prolongation . In 2013, he released a five-song EP entitled M'Aimeras-Tu Encore. He takes part, along with Kim Richardson and Rick Hughes, in the musical revue American Story Show in 2015. During 2017, he launched the song " Wind Beneath my Wings ", popularized by Bette Midler in 1979, as well as a cover of Daniel Lavoie's play, " J'ai quitté mon île ". Marc-André Fotin takes part in two country tours during 2018: Québec Issime Coy-Boys and La Caravane Country . In November 2018, he released two Christmas songs, " Il va naître à minuit " and " Ma Liste de Noël ". In 2019, he plays the role of Ziggy, alternating with Michaël, in the Quebec production Québec Issime Chante Starmania . He also launches the opus D'Où Je Viens the same year. In 2021 and 2022, he tours Quebec with Je Reviens Chez Nous.
