Taisho Sugo, whose stage name is Masaki Suda, is a popular and award-winning screen actor in Japan with many film and television credits including the 'Kamen Rider' franchise. He stars in the 2017 movie 'Kiseki: Sobito of That Day', a biopic of the boy band Greeeen, and features on the soundtrack EP titled 'Green Boys', which went to number four on the Japan albums chart. His 2017 debut solo single 'Mita Koto mo Nai Keshiki' reached number five on the Japan singles chart and number three on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. The track features on his first album, 'Play' (2018), which peaked at number two on the Japan albums chart and number three on Billboard's Japan albums chart. The track 'Sayonara Elegy' topped the Japan streaming songs chart, reached number three on the Japan Hot 100 and went to number 12 on the Japan singles chart. In 2019, he released the single ''Machigai sagashi' written and produced by J-pop star Kenshi Yonezu who had featured him on his 2017 hit 'Gray and Blue'.
