Massiv

Gangster rapper Wasiem Thaha, known to the public as Massiv, was born on November 9, 1982 in Primasens and moved to Berlin in 2005. Just one year later, he made a name for himself in the German rap scene with the Horrorkore Mixtape Part 1, released together with MC Basstard. Also in 2006, he released his debut album Blut gegen Blut, which featured some already established capital city rappers such as Sido, B-Tight and King Orgasmus One. The record made big waves, so much so that he received an offer from Sony BMG and his debut was re-released there in 2007. With the major label behind him, the single "Wenn der Mond in mein Ghetto kracht" was his first chart entry in the German (number 44) and Austrian (number 72) singles charts. Massiv worked hard to live up to the hype and excelled with constant releases. With his eighth album Blut gegen Blut 3 (2013), he positioned himself in the top 5 of the German charts for the first time. The follow-up album M10 (2014) did the same. The two albums Raubtier and BGB X both reached number 8 in the charts in 2016 and 2017. in 2017, Massiv appeared as an actor in the series 4 Blocks. He played the recurring character Latif Hamady and released the song of the same name "4 Blocks" (2017) with rappers Veysel and Gringo, who also appeared as actors in the series. his 14th solo album Lativ was released in 2020, including the song "Psht" (feat. Ramo). With the collabo album Ghetto (2021) with Ruhrpott rapper Manuellsen, he made it back into the charts in Germany and Switzerland.
