Prince Waly

French rapper of Senegalese origin, Prince Waly was born in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis, on December 24, 1991. It was in Montreuil that he made his debut as part of the Big Buddha Cheez duo, formed with rapper and producer Fiasko Proximo. Together on the collective label Exepoq Organisation, they produced the albums Ma Routine Roule à M. City (2012) and Big Buddha Cheez & DJ Med Fleed (2013), which featured contributions from Jazzy Bazz, Cenza and Ya Nigga. Two more recordings follow, L'Heure des Loups (2016) and Épicerie Coréenne (2018), while Prince Waly releases the seven-track EP Junior (2016), produced by Myth Syzer. The follow-up, B O Y Z, self-released in 2019, features guests Alpha Wann on the track "Plan" and the group Feu! Chatterton on the title track. The latter's singer, Arthur Teboul, also contributes to the fourteen-track album Moussa, released in 2022, alongside Freeze Corleone, Enchantée Julia, Jazzy Bazz, Ali, Luidji and Makala. On its release, Moussa reached No. 26 in the SNEP album chart.
