Ram Miriyala – born in Pithapuram, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, India on October 30, 1993 – is a film composer, playback singer, songwriter, producer, and musician best known for his work in Teluga cinema aka Tollywood. His musical journey began after he completed his schooling and began working at a radio station in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. After meeting a few like-minded musician friends, they formed the band ChowRaasta and began sharing music via social media. In 2019, he began a career in Tollywood both as a singer – “Vagalaadi” (from Brochevarevarura) – and as a composer of songs such as “Oorellipota Mama” and “Maya.” He also released several non-film recordings but focused his attention on the film industry beginning in 2020. Ram Miriyala’s career as a playback singer picked up in 2021 and he recorded several popular songs including “Chitti” (from Jathi Ratnalu), “Puttene Prema” (from Gully Rowdy), “Torture” (from 777 Charlie), and “Anubhavinchu Raja” from the film of the same name. In early 2022, he provided playback vocals for such films as F3, Rowdy Boys, Shoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, and DJ Tillu, including the hit song "Tillu Anna DJ Pedithe" (featuring Siddhu and Nehe Shetty), which was streamed on social media nearly 150 million times within the first month of release.
