Roo'ra, a South Korean co-ed hip hop and dance-pop group, was one of the most celebrated musical acts of the 1990s. Debuting in 1994, their initial album Roots of Reggae marked the start of a successful career. Their second album, The Angel Who Lost Wings (1995), was a massive hit, selling a million copies swiftly. In 2009, members Lee Sang-min, Go Young-wook, Kim Ji-hyun, and Chae Ri-na reunited to release Roo'ra's ninth and final album A9ain (2009).
