Roseline Layo

Roseline Layo, born on December 21, 1993 in Man (Côte d'Ivoire), is an Ivorian zouglou singer. After dropping out of school, she devoted herself to music, taking part in the"Star Karaoke" show in 2014, where she reached the final. She then joined the Bella Mondo all-female orchestra before going solo. In 2021, she made a name for herself with Donnez-nous un peu, a humorous track that catapulted her to the forefront of the music scene. In 2023, she released her first album, Élus de Dieu, certified gold in Côte d'Ivoire and racking up millions of streams. She also received a gold disc in France and was voted best newcomer at the Trace Awards. In 2024, she unveils Loulou, a song dedicated to her husband, Gnahou David. Thanks to her charisma and talent, Roseline Layo has established herself as a leading female figure in zouglou, a predominantly male genre. She continues to enjoy success after success, expanding her audience in Africa and abroad.
