Satoshi Hayashibe, a Japanese singer-songwriter and radio personality, was born on May 7, 1988, in Shinjo City, Yamagata Prefecture. His singing talent was discovered while working in a hotel on Rebun Island, Hokkaido, inspiring him to pursue music seriously. He moved to Tokyo to study at ESP Musical Academy, excelling academically but facing repeated rejections at auditions. A breakthrough came when he appeared on the TV show THE Karaoke Battle which reignited his singing career, leading to multiple wins and eventually securing a place in the show’s hall of fame. Hayashibe debuted with the single "Aitai" on February 24, 2016, which became a hit, achieving top ranks in national charts and sustaining long-term sales. His subsequent releases, such as "Hareta hi ni sora wo miagete" and acting roles in TV dramas like Totto-chan where he portrayed Kyu Sakamoto, further established his career. His album I (First) features tracks used as theme songs for various dramas, solidifying his presence in the industry. Hayashibe's album, Kataribe -ecrin d'amour- (2024) adds to his impressive discography, showcasing his evolving musical and lyrical depth.
