Shado Chris

Born Fale Djerianene Christian Marc-Alexandre in 1987 in Cocody, a suburb of Abidjan, the capital of Côte d'Ivoire, Shado Chris grew up in Ferkessédougou. Interested in music, he took up the piano at the age of 8, later discovering African and American artists such as 2Pac, Stezo, Michael Jackson, Almighty and Meiway. As a teenager, he joined a choir and then began producing music on his computer. He continued his studies, however, graduating with a degree in telecommunications engineering. But the call of music remained strongest, and in 2008 he released his first self-produced album, Metizik. Thanks to his own studio, he collaborates with numerous artists. Starting in 2014 with the track "Mon Lahan", he became one of the pillars of Ivorian rap and followed this up with numerous hit singles over the years, such as "C'nous les bosses" in 2015 with Serge Beynaud, "C'est pas possible" with Youness or "On est garçon" with H Magnum in 2016, "Imparfait" with J-Haine in 2017, then "My Baby" or "EIPQQM " in 2018, but also "Je n'ai pas volé" in 2019, "Kitadi" with Locko in 2020 then "Fier de moi " in 2022. That same year, he released the Omni EP, featuring the tracks "Qui choisir" and "Elle me moyen".
