Taylor Grey

The pop singer/songwriter Taylor Grey was born in Northern California on May 29, 1997. She launched her music career with the EPs Mind of Mine and Mind of Mine II, both of which were released in 2016. That year also marked her enrollment at Stanford University, where she pursued a major in psychology while continuing to release pop records. The singles "Never Woulda Lecha" and "Miami" followed in early 2017, paving the way for her debut album, Space Case, later that summer. Produced by Josh Abraham, Space Case was named "Best Pop Album of the Year" at the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards in 2018, with "Miami" winning the award for "Best Pop Song of the Year." Taylor Grey supported the material's release by touring alongside former X Factor contestant Jacob Whitesides. She returned to the recording studio and released two additional singles, "Back to Bite" and "Warning," in 2018, followed by the Grey EP. Now an internationally-touring artist, she played shows throughout America, Australia, and Europe during 2019, while also releasing standalone singles like "Bubbly," "Intentionally," and "My Girl." The song "Complic8ed" followed in 2020. Two years later, "Intentionally" became a surprise hit overseas, peaking at Number 55 on the Top 200 in China.
