Wincent Weiss

Wincent Weiss (born January 21, 1993 in Bad Oldesloe) is a pop singer and songwriter from Germany. Wincent Weiss first tried to boost his singing career in 2013 via the TV casting show Deutschland Sucht den Superstar. He then released a cover version of the song "Unter Meiner Haut" by singer Elif Demirezer on social media. The song made it to number 6 in the German charts in 2015 as a remix by the band Gestört Aber Geil and reached triple gold status. Spurred on by this, the artist released his first own song, "Regenbogen", in 2015. It was the second single "Musik Sein" that brought Wincent Weiss his first success. The song made it to number 27 in Germany and achieved platinum status. In Austria, the song climbs to number 8 and goes gold. At the beginning of 2017, Wincent Weiss released the single "Feuerwerk", which reached number 26 in Germany and again achieved platinum status. A short time later, Wincent Weiss releases his debut album, Irgendwas Gegen Die Stille. It reaches number 3 in Germany and goes gold three times. In Switzerland, the album reaches number 4 and achieves platinum status. In Austria, the longplayer climbed to number 14, followed by two more albums, Irgendwie Anders (2019) and Vielleicht Irgendwann (2021). With the latter, Wincent Weiss achieved a number 1 ranking in Germany and Austria. Other well-known songs by Wincent Weiss are "Frische Luft", "An Wunder" and "Wer Wenn Nicht Wir". In 2021, the children's song "Boom Schakkalakka" is released together with Dikka, the rapping rhinoceros.
