XAVAS

Xavas is a German music project founded in 2012 by Xavier Naidoo (born October 2, 1971 in Mannheim) and Kool Savas (born February 10, 1975 in Aachen). Both musicians were already successful as solo artists before Xavas, Xavier Naidoo in the field of soul and R&B, Kool Savas as one of the most influential German rappers. With their joint project, they combine soul and hip-hop elements. The debut album Gespaltene Persönlichkeit is released in 2012 and reaches number 1 in the German charts. The single "Schau nicht mehr zurück" is also a success and places in the top 10. The duo performs at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2012 and wins the competition with the song "Wage to Believe". Xavas is characterized by profound lyrics and a mixture of rap and melodic elements, which earns them recognition in both the hip-hop and pop scenes. After their debut, they both concentrated on their solo projects again, but are still remembered as an influential duo in the German music scene.
