Originally from Paris, Yannou JR began his career as an influencer. Federating a large community of listeners through social networks, he decided to take up rap in 2019, unveiling track after track "Kylie Jenner " and "Bat les couilles", the preamble to a first mixtape entitled JR World, released the same year. The year 2020 saw the release of two EPs, Eav Part I, followed a few weeks later by Eav Part II. Yannou JR's first mixtape, Vision, featuring 14 tracks, including one in collaboration with Ghost Killer Track, was released in late summer 2021 and reached number ten in the SNEP Albums chart in France.
