Yodé & Siro

Two-piece zouglou band from Abidjan, Yodé & Siro took over in 1996 from Les Poussins Choc, a group to which they had previously contributed, but which split up following the death of Fifi Django. Their recording career began in 2000 with the album Victoire , on which the duo deals with the daily problems of Ivorians, as well as the country's economic and political situation, with humor and irony. Two years later, the album Antilaleca consolidated Yodé & Siro's place on the Ivorian zouglou scene, with tracks such as "Prophète", "Président" and "La vie". This was followed in 2007 by the album Sign'zo and in 2020 by Héritage.
