Tonio Dalfolgo, who is best known to German hip-hop fans as Fatal or Big Toe, was born in Berlin on March 8, 1990 to Bosnian parents. The gangsta rapper, whose lyrics repeatedly incorporate the harshness of the streets, then grows up in the Ruhr area. He became known to a wider audience after signing a record deal with the underground label Hell Raisa. Big Toe took off commercially in 2011: His first solo album Toxischer Beton also puts the MC on the radar of other colleagues, resulting in the co-op long-player Ein Gauner kommt selten allein (A Crook Rarely Comes Alone ) with Rico the following year. Dalfolgo, who is now on board with Kontra-K's DePeKa Records, takes part in the label sampler Mach keine chromen Dinga in 2013, before his solo sophomore album 19Straßenfunk is released in 2014. in 2015, he released Ein Gauner kommt selten allein 2, again with Rico, as a sequel to its predecessor. Big Toe, who stands for rough punchlines and increasingly relies on harder and harder trap beats, scored a scene success with Chroniken eines Hutmachers Kapitel 1 - Die verlorenen Bänder in 2016, before the albums Die Toeski Gambino Story and Dynastie expanded his oeuvre in 2017. Ohne Grinden kein Flexen (2018) and Krieg dein Geld hoch (2020) were followed in 2021 by the single "Turtlez " (feat. Bonez MC), with which Big Toe achieved his first chart positions in the DACH region, including number 30 in Germany and number 39 in Austria. In retrospect, the track can be seen as an application for the 187-Strassenbande LP Sampler 5 (2021), on which the rapper is also featured on the track "GNRFT" .
