Familyzik

Both a music group (Familyzik) and a label (Familyzik Group), Familyzik has been bringing together Beninese artists since 2012, eager to join forces and make their mark in the music industry. Initially active in their country through a series of concerts, Familyzik gradually opened up to production and made a name for themselves with their single "#GTB (Génération tête baissée)" (2016). With influences from rap, R'n'B and dancehall, the band uses musical expression to raise awareness of the use of screens by Benin's youth. With "Garçon c'est garçon " (2017), Familyzik tackles the issue of infidelity. The song became a hit, and the group gained recognition in Benin for its ability to bring people together and deal light-heartedly with issues that affect society. Familyzik quickly found success again the following year with "Pas de bêtises" (2018), this time mixing rumba and trap. Having established themselves in the minds of the Beninese public with their hits, the group continued to grow, inviting Beninese singer Queen Fumi on "Pas de bêtises 2.0" (2019), followed by " Coller chimenter" (2019) and "Mea culpa " (2021).
