Kianush

Born in Tehran on August 18, 1987, Kianush, real name Kianush Rashedi, moved to the socially problematic Kinderhaus district of Münster as a teenager. He attends a youth club there called Streetsound, which encourages his development as a rap artist. After a series of robberies, he is arrested and serves time in prison from 2011 to 2014. After his release, he began to focus on his music and released an album with PA Sports on the Desperadoz label in 2014, his music establishing itself in the new-school rap genre with a trap influence. Kianush had already worked with his Iranian colleague PA Sports in 2011. The latter also moved to Germany before embarking on a career as a rap artist. From 2014, Kianush also contributed to several other tracks by PA Sports. Two years later, he released his first solo album Szenario on the Groove Attack label. His second album Instinkt followed in 2017, reaching number seven in the German album charts. in 2018, he released another album with PA Sports, Desperadoz II, which climbed to number 5 in the German album charts. CROSSOVER and Desperadoz III, again with PA Sports, follow in 2020 and 2021. In addition to his collaboration project and his solo career, which will culminate in the album Boost in 2021, Kianush is involved in a number of tracks by other artists, including KC Rebell's album Abstand. His solo album X-Tape remains chartless in 2022. In April 2024, the single "10 Sekunden" announces the next album. Szenariio is released in May 2024 and reaches number 23 in the German album charts.
