Leanna Crawford

Leanna Crawford began earning a string of Top 40 hits on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart in 2020, beginning with the single "Truth I'm Standing On." Although such success arrived after she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, she was born in Stanwood, Washington, on June 13, 1995. Home-schooled during her grade school years, Crawford later attended Northwest University, where she obtained a music degree. An inspirational mission retreat in 2012 convinced her to combine her musical talents with her religious faith, and she released the CCM song "Moment by Moment" one year later. A regional hit on Christian radio stations across the Northwest, "Moment by Moment" became a springboard for her career, and Crawford continued writing new songs after moving to Nashville. Her debut EP, Crazy Beautiful You, arrived in 2018, as did the holiday singles "Christmas Dreaming" and "Angels We Have Heard on High." Her momentum continued to build in 2019, when Crawford signed with Provident Label Group. "Funeral," the first single from her self-titled Leanna Crawford EP, was released in 2020 and became a hit on Billboard's Christian Airplay chart, where it peaked at Number 45. The EP's follow-up single, "Truth I'm Standing On," reached Number 21. "Mean Girls," a duet with gospel singer Jekalyn Carr, climbed to Number 29 in 2021. "Mean Girls" also reached Number 20 on the Christian Airplay chart. Nominated for "Female Artist of the Year" at the 2021 K-LOVE Fan Awards, Leanna Crawford continued releasing new singles in 2022, then reached Number 34 on Christian Airplay with her first release of 2023, "How Can You Not." The song appeared on her album Still Waters, as did "Still Waters (Psalm 23)," which cracked the Top 50 on the Christian charts.
