Maison B is a J-pop boy group formed in Japan in 2022. The group comprises seven members: RICK, LYU, REIJI, MASATO, TECO, SHOYA, and HIKARU. They all appeared as contestants on the reality television show Produce 101 Japan Season 2 and exited the show as part of the "B rank" class of trainees. The group's name reflects their determination to "break" the status quo, with the "B" representing a reversal of the "B class" ranking. Produced by Japanese singer/rapper KEN THE 390, Maison B debuted with their first single, "Bringing Out," on August 19, 2022, followed by "Masquerade" on November 18 of the same year. On January 18, 2023, the group released "Paradise," the lead single from their debut EP Foundations, which dropped on February 15, 2023, peaking at number 30 on the Billboard Japan album charts.
