Meesyz is a French Pop Urbaine / RnB artist, born in 2002 to a French father and an Ivorian mother. She grew up in Paris, where her musician father introduced her to music. As a teenager, she began writing and composing her own songs. In 2020, during the confinement, she made a name for herself by posting covers on social networks, including Burna Boy's "Last Last". This exposure attracts the attention of JR O Crom and Doomams of the Sexion d'Assaut, who sign her to their Black Carpet label in 2022. On June 28, 2024, she released her first EP, Visionnaire, featuring collaborations with Warren Saada and Jok'Air. In January 2025, she followed this up with a second EP, Baker, marking her signature with the RCA label. Inspired by Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ninho and Niska, Meesyz fuses R&B, Afrobeat and melodic rap in her music. Her stage name, derived from "Mrs", reflects her determination to make a name for herself in the music industry.
