Miho Kato, who goes by the name Miliyah Kato, is a Japanese pop and R&B singer-songwriter who began writing songs as a teenager and sang as a backing singer and on commercials before her recording debut in 2004. Her single 'Never Let Go' went to number 15 on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart. Her debut album 'Rose' (2005) topped Japan's Oricon Albums Chart, 'Diamond Princess' (2007) went to number five, 'Tokyo Star' (2008) number four, 'Ring' (2009) number two, 'Heaven' (2010) number one, 'True Lovers' (2012) number two, 'Loveland' (2014) number three, 'Liberty' (2016) number four, 'Utopia' (2017) number five and 'Femme Fatale' (2018) number eight. She has released many singles including 'Lalala' (2007) featuring Wakadanna, which went to number seven on the Oricon chart. '20-Cry' (2009) reached number seven on the Oricon chart, 'Forever Love' (2010) with Shota Shimizu peaked at number five, 'Yusha Tachi' (2011) number eight, 'Lonely Hearts' (2013) number 17, 'Lipstick' (2015) number 44 and 'Romance' (2018) number 50. Her 2019 track 'Ai Ga Furu' reached number 37 on the Oricon chart. Her EPs include 'M's X'Mas' in 2014 and 'I Hate You' in 2018 and she has released several DVDs and music videos including 'Utopia Tour 2017'. Her 2019 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Tokyo, Sendai, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka and Nagoya.
