Mudi

The German rapper Mudi, real name Mahmoud Mouhamed, was born in Berlin on December 19, 1992. Mudi grew up as the son of a Kurdish father from Turkey and an Arab mother from Lebanon, who fled to Germany as a result of the civil war. At the age of 15, he was supported by his cousin Hamudi, who later became a producer on albums such as Rebell ohne Grund by Prinz Pi. Mudi writes lyrics and raps to his cousin's beats, which he then posts on YouTube. in 2010, the video for his song "Flügel" appeared on YouTube, making Mudi known to a wider audience. He then released several features with PA Sports, Prinz Pi and RAF Camora. his self-produced album Zeitachse was released in 2014. His 2016 album Hayat reached number 28 in the German charts, followed by his third album Sabr in 2017, which reached number 7 in the charts. Hasret also reached the charts in German-speaking countries in 2018. After a collaboration album with Enes, which was released in 2020, Mudi released Amal in 2021. The album also includes the single "Te Dua" with Ardian Bujupi.
