Seyi Vibez

Seyi Vibez is a Nigerian Afro-pop singer who rose to prominence in 2021 with his hit singles "Chance (Na Ham)" and "God Sent." Born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi on July 12, 2000, in Ketu, Lagos State, Seyi Vibez began making music at a young age inspired by legendary Afrobeat musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti and kicked off his career in 2019 with the single "Dia Fada." After generating a decent amount of buzz with the 2020 singles "Bamishe (Freestyle)," "Grace," and "Upgrade," Vibez issued his studio debut NSNV (No Seyi Vibez) in 2021, which featured his breakthrough hit "God Sent," as well as guest spots by Reekado Banks and Teni. His prolific streak carried over to the following year, issuing a plethora of singles in collaboration with Larncash ("Lift Me High"), Ido West ("Jah (Remix)"), Ice Prince ("Hustle"), Ayomide ("Ire"), and Balloranking ("Realize"). That same year, Seyi Vibez began teasing the release of his second studio full-length, Billion Dollar Baby, with the single "Bullion Van", followed in 2022 by the extended Billion Dollar Baby 2.0, including duets with Simi and Mayorkun. After the EP Memory Card (2023), featuring a guest spot from the American rapper YXNG K.A., Vibez collaborated with Zlatan on the single "Let There Be Light". Two different albums followed, Vibe Thy Kingdom Come featuring Young Jonn and Focalistic, then Thy Kingdom Come, with collaborations from Phyno and Ami Faku. In 2024, the seven tracks of the album Loseyi Professor charted in US and UK Afrobeats charts, as the four tracks of the 2025's EP Children of Africa.
