Smash Hits

Smash Hits, the Puerto Rican production duo made up of brothers Super Solo and Mistel Kind, have become a dynamic force in Reggaeton, Dancehall, Afrobeat, and R&B. Hailing from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, they were immersed in music from an early age, influenced by their grandfather’s opera career and their mother’s music academy. Initially drawn to reggae and reggaeton in the 1990s, they honed their craft over the years. After Hurricane Maria in 2018, the brothers returned to Puerto Rico to launch Smash Hits, a creative hub and recording studio in Guaynabo. Their expertise and industry connections have led to collaborations with top artists like De La Ghetto, Rauw Alejandro, Ivy Queen, and Omar Courtz. A major milestone came when they contributed to De La Ghetto’s Grammy-nominated album Mi Movimiento that same year. Known for blending 90s nostalgia with contemporary urban beats, Smash Hits delivered their debut album YKWGTS in 2023, featuring contributions from Cory, Axel Pvbon, Bernier, Laya Kalima, Jodosky, Kidd Gabu, De La Rose, and many more.
