Puerto Rican singer ROA, born Gilberto Figueroa on May 28, 1996, has swiftly risen in the music industry with his innovative fusion of genres like dancehall, trap, reggaeton, and drum & bass. Formerly a model, ROA transitioned to music, drawing inspiration from icons like 2Pac, Prince, and Kendrick Lamar. His 2023 debut EP, Private Suite Vol. 1, released under Universal Music Latino, showcases eight tracks recorded in creative sessions across Miami, Chile, and Puerto Rico. Produced by Botlok and Chilean producer Moustache, the project features collaborations with artists like Omar Courtz, Bryant Myers, Dei V, and Hades66. Singles such as "Pa Cuando," a hit with Chilean artist Young Cister, and other tracks have dominated Puerto Rico’s Top Charts, with two songs simultaneously in the island’s Top 10. 2024 saw the release of his second album, Private Suite (Vol. 2), which featured contributions from J Abdiel, Slayter, CDobleta, Yan Block, De La Rose, Luar la L, and Omar Courtz.
