Unspoken

Unspoken is an American Christian rock band formed in 2003 and based in Nashville. Founding members Chad Mattson and Mike Gomez met on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Upon returning to the United States, Mattson's old friend Jon Lowry joined the band, along with Puerto Rican drummer Ariel Munoz and keyboardist Alan Peino. Unspoken debuted with the single "Who You Are" in 2012, followed by "Lift My Life Up" in 2013. The release of their debut album Unspoken in 2014 featured the single "Start a Fire". After releasing the acoustic album Unplugged in 2015, Unspoken released their second album Follow Through the following year, which featured the single "The Cure". Gomez left the band in 2018 and was replaced by Wiso Aponte. Preceded by the title "Just Give Me Jesus" in 2018, the album Reason was released a few months later, in 2019, carried by another single, the viral hit "Help Is on the Way". The same year, the four-track EP Dreams was released, followed by the hit "Good News" in 2020. In 2022, the EP Gold Help Me was accompanied by three hits including the homonymous track and a collaboration with Walker Hayes. The tracks recorded afterwards completed the album IV (2024), starting with the flagship track "What He Says About You", a new title ranked in the Christian charts.
