Jascha Schmuhl aka Chapo102 is a German rapper from Leer in East Frisia. He is best known for his many years of involvement in the East Frisian hip-hop crew 102 Boyz. With his musical style between trap, Aggro Berlin, Casper and 6ix9ine and his nonchalant manner, the rapper impresses on tracks such as "Bier" (2018) with the 102 Boyz, feat. Monk - from the seven-member rap crew BHZ - is also the first person Chapo102 has collaborated with under his own stage name. the joint single "Stiftung Warentest" was released in 2019 . Chapo102 also works closely with Berlin rapper KASIMIR1441. in 2020, the two released the singles "Parkbank" and "Rotzlöffel". in 2020, the album Rotzlöffel is released on the Chucky die Mörderruppe label - which also occasionally features their old colleagues from the 102 Boyz. An album full of punk rock attitude, which is considered a breath of fresh air in the German rap scene and reaches number 42 in Germany. Chapo102 released his debut album in 2022. Countryclub climbs to number 17 in the German charts. The joint single "Erkläre mir die Liebe" with Juju and Philipp Poisel follows later in the year. The song reaches number 20 in the German charts. In August 2024, Chapo102 releases another solo album, Helldunkel.
