Born in Angers on August 28, 1992, rapper Da Uzi (real name Davy Ngoma Di Malonda) grew up in Sevran in Seine-Saint-Denis, like Kaaris and Kalash Criminel. He made a name for himself with the La D en Personne series, launched at the end of 2016. Signed by Warner's Rec. 118 label, he multiplied releases during 2018, including the duets "Nounou" with Maes and "C'est le même thème" with 13 Block, then "Entre les murs" (n° 62) with Ninho. Released at the end of the year, the mixtape Mexico (No. 5) includes new collaborations, with Sadek on "La Loi du talion " and Kaaris on "D'une autre manière". 2019 sees him collaborate with artists such as Kaaris, Leto, Dadinho, 404 Billy, Zikxo, Dinero, GLK, Hornet la Frappe, ZKR and Yaro, followed by Maes in early 2020. At the same time, he is preparing his first album, Architecte, which will be released in the spring of the same year. It featured contributions from Ninho (with whom he recorded the highly effective duet "Crois-moi" (No. 3)), SCH and Alonzo. In 2021, Da Uzi returned with a second album, Vrai 2 Vrai (No. 3), on which he welcomed artists such as Freeze Corleone, Heuss l'Enfoiré, ZKR, Soso Maness, MHD and Nekfeu on the track "Jeune d'en bas" (No. 21). Involved in the Game Over project since 2018, Le Classico Organisé in 2021 and Redvolution in 2022, Da Uzi reappeared in 2024 with the singles "Michael Jordan", "OTF" and other tracks included on the album Original Gangsta (2025), featuring Ninho, Leto, Dinos, Néj', ElGrandeToto and ZKR.
